WOW!!! I really enjoyed the musical instruments that you made out of the glasses and the water. I was very impressed by the clear and thoughtful layout of your blog post and presentation. I have marked this activity as an outstanding task which means that you will get some extra points. As I really enjoyed the presentation and that you included a very thoughtful review and the fact that you included it at the end of your slide show. It is Great to hear that you enjoyed the activity.
I made a guitar at primary school with a box and an elastic. What other instrument do you think would your fellow bloggers be able to make at home?
You should be very proud of your musical mahi!!!!
Keep up the Super work we look forward to your next blog post!!!
Have a Super Summer!!!

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your Nanogirl Musical Instrument Challenge!
I really like how you have used items from around your home to make your instrument. I have always liked the sound and pitch glass wear makes - it reminds me of eating out at restaurants with family which is one of my favourite things to do!
Well done on drawing our attention to the difference in pitch depending on the amount of water in the glass. This is a key factor in producing the sound and is related to vibration. Did you learn whether there was more or less vibration in the glass with the most water, and how that is related to the pitch of the sound?
Look forward to your reply!
