SLJ/WK 4 - Step Up Activity: Summer Essentials

 Hello everyone! My name is Finau and welcome to my blog/welcome back to my blog. This is the step up activity for Summer Essentials. In this activity we had to create a collage about our Summer Essentials. I enjoyed this activity it because I also enjoy making collages (and I'm making one right now) and it reminds me on summer. I hope you have you enjoyed. Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

    Chris here again, from the Summer Learning Journey!

    What a bright and colourful collage! I love watermelon as well, and I bought that exact bottle of sunscreen yesterday, haha. Have you had much of a chance to do the things you have pictured here these holidays? What is the other collage you’re making at the moment? Sounds interesting!

      Thanks for your comment. Thanks! I also do think it is bright and colourful. Oh that's cool! Haha! I went to the beach on Saturday but my sunscreen was different. Yes, I had watermelon, went to the beach, have ice cream and popsicles, had some soft drinks and lots of water. Thank you for asking. Have you done anything similar to the collage in the summer? I was making a family one and another one with my friends in it.

      Kia ora Finau, that's great to hear!

      I went to one outdoor music event this summer, and there was definitely sunblock needed for that, as well as cold drinks! Otherwise, not so much. I did see my family, but mostly indoors.

    WOW!!!! You have chosen some images that are powerful representations of the summertime. It is awesome to see that you included sunscreen and a lot of drinking water which are absolutely essential in the summer sun. Ice-cream and watermelon are the classic favourites of the summertime. You have done a fantastic job at representing summer!!!

    What do some of these images mean to you? The sea and the ice-cream reminds me of the times I spend with my family at the beach.

      Thank you for your comment. Oh thanks! I like the images I've chosen. Yes it really is. YES! I love ice cream and watermelon, especially during the summer.

      Well one of them is the kids playing in the pool. I like going to the pools/beach because we always get wet and sometimes use our spray guns. That seem very nice.
