First Day Of School 2022!

 Hello everyone! My name is Finau and welcome to my blog/welcome back to my blog. Today was the first day of school Pt England 2022! YAY! 

I got to see my friends that I missed and met/saw a lot of new faces. There are some new year 7s in my class and there are still some of the old year 8s (which is me) in my class.

Today we first walked over to Te Kapua so that we could know which classes we are in this year. I was super pumped to be with my teacher again and be with my friends again and also meet some new people. We went over our class rules and home class things. For the rest of the day we did things with our table/group (my table/group is green) and did some quiet work.

Today was quite interesting, fun, and also quite chill. By the way we have a new class pet, a gold fish!

Summer Learning Journey 2021-2022 Reflection!

Hi everyone! My name is Finau and welcome to my blog/welcome back to my blog. I have enjoyed the Summer Learning Journey 2021-2022. I will be sharing the activity I liked the most and why, something I found tricky or challenging, 3 things I learnt, and I would like to see more next year.

(What activity I liked the most) One of my most favourite activities was fun perspective photography. I enjoyed it a lot! I did it with my sister. The overall result of all the photos looked amazing. I liked this activity because of the amazing end result.

What activity was challenging and tricky) The Geometry Art one was quite challenging for me. Getting the lines together was kind of hard. I still enjoyed it though.

(3 things I learnt) (1) I learnt that there a 3 different finger prints, loop,whorl,arch. (2) I also learnt that cartoons are optical illusions and optical illusions can tricky your brain! (3) I learnt about the different way other countries celebrate New Year's. Very cool and interesting!
