The Baby-Sitters Club Kristy's Big Day - Home Learning #3

Hi everyone, it's me Finau and this is my homework. We had to choose a book and read a chapter from it and summarise it. We then had to predict what happens in the next chapter. Here is a link to my 1st and 2nd one.

Kristy is so upset and walks to her bestie Mary Anne's house for a baby sitters meeting. Soon everyone starts talking about any calls (calls for anyone who needs baby sitting) or anything they need. They do get some calls and some of them are free to baby sit and others are not. Mary Anne then realises how upset Kristy is. She asks why and tells her the bad news and good news. Everyone was shocked but they wanted to know more about how she is a bridesmaid (which was the good news) and a little worried about the bad news. They ask what is she wearing and what colour is the dress. After that they ask each who are they going with at Final Fling (which is a dance or prom at their school). Mary Anne doesn't want to go but Kristy is excited about the Final Fling than the wedding. 

I predict in the next chapter that Kristy and her friends with go to the Final Fling and maybe Kristy is still kind of worried about the wedding and the other things.

The Baby-Sitters Club Kristy's Big Day - Home Learning #2

Hey everyone, it's me Finau and this is my homework. We had to choose a book and read a chapter from it and summarise it. We then had to predict what happens in the next chapter. I finally found a book that I enjoy reading which are comic books (and much more). Here is a link to my 1st one. 

As usual Kristy went to school but you know when bad things happen? Sometimes good luck is followed after that and that is what happen with the wedding. Kristy came home to see her Mum panicking and in stress. She asked what happened. The house Kristy and her family was living in at the moment was going to be sold soon but Mum told Kristy that the house was going to be sold very, VERY soon (like next month?) and Mum had to go on a 2 week business trip in Europe on the wedding day. NO! Kristy is upset because then they would have to move very soon and she wants to stay with her friends but that means that Mum has to plan a weeding in 2 weeks and clean the house before the new owners come. Mum starts packing and throwing pans and dishes. Her younger brothers comes and gets kind of worried. Kristy get mad because of all of this chaos and runs to bedroom. She talks with her best friend Mary Anne about everything. After that Kristy goes to Mum and tells her she will help her plan. It took a lot of work and time but there is more to do. 

I predict in the next chapter shes carries on helping Mum to school. I think she might still be very upset and tells the Baby-Sitters Club.

The Baby-Sitters Club Kristy's Big Day - Home Learning

 

Hello everyone, it's me Finau and this is my homework. We had to choose a book and read the first chapter and summarise it. We then had to predict what happens in the next chapter. I finally found a book that I enjoy reading which are comic books (and much more). I just got it today, this is my duffy book. 

Kristy Thomas is about to have new Step Siblings. Her Mum is getting married and she is excited to have new siblings. The problem is that they are moving to where her step Dad lives. She will have to leave her friends and The Baby Sitters Club. Soon they get called to come and have dinner. They talk about the wedding and they said that everyone will be apart of the wedding. Kristy is shocked. Her Mum asks her is she wants to be her Bridesmaid. Kristy screams with joy and is so happy she is a Bridesmaid. The rest of her sibling are doing important stuff like being a flower girl or however you call it, Best Man? Kristy is still shocked and glad she is a Bridesmaid. 

I predict in the next chapter that they are just going to school like a normal day and tell her friends about the BIG NEWS! That's pretty much what I predict.

Me, Frida and the secret of the Peacock Ring - Home Learning #2

Hello everyone, it's me Finau and today I will be doing a post for my home learning activities. I couldn't find the original book I was reading so I chose to read this book I had like 2 years ago. You also might have seen this book in my other posts. We had to chose a book and read a chapter. Then we had to explain what happens in the chapter and write a prediction for the next chapter.

Paloma and her Mum Emma arrive at the airport. Paloma is really scared and nervous and starts saying that her friends said that there are kidnappers in Mexico and bad people. Mum says stop this nonsense. Mum then says that there will be people picking them up. A man shows up and stares at then for a while. Paloma is frighted and tires to tell Mum. They soon then realised that he is picking them up. The man and Emma tell her (Paloma) that she is there for 4 weeks and she is going to summer school or something like that so she can learn her language. 

I predict in the next chapter she is going to be really annoyed and sad because she seemed furious and shocked when she heard she had to stay there for 4 weeks and she is going to summer school or something like that so she can learn her language.

Me, Frida and the secret of the Peacock Ring - Home Learning

Hey everyone, it's me Finau and today I will be doing a post for my home learning activities. I couldn't find the original book I was reading so I chose to read this book I had like 2 years ago. So there is a teen who's name is Paloma. She and her mum went to Mexico, they are Spanish. Paloma is having a hard time trying to speak Spanish and learn it. The trip is for 4 weeks. She is sad because she is missing out on her summer with her friends. After a bit she starts thinking about her dad and the memories they shared. He died when she was only 3 years old. (Prediction) I think the what happens next is that they will check in and go find where they are staying. I think Paloma is still learning Spanish and maybe she will have a surprise? That's all I probably know.

Ready for Learning!

 Hello everyone, it's me Finau and today I will be doing an extra activity for today. This activity was for everyone to get ready with their learning. This activity was created by Mr Goodwin (I think). The reason why we did this is because we are in Lockdown level 3 for 3 days. Nouns

 Hey everyone, it's me Finau and today is our first day of the three day lockdown. Hope we can get back to school soon but in the mean time we can do our work form home. This task is all about nouns. Reflection A Twisted Tale - Home Learning

 

Hey everyone, it's me Finau and today I will be doing a post for my home learning activities. We had to chose a book and read a chapter. Then we had to explain what happens in the chapter and write a prediction for the second chapter. 

So there was a battle with Mulan's army and the Huns's army. She took her dad's spot in the army so she was a girl pretending to be a boy. Mulan thought of a bizarre idea she has never done before. She knew it was bad idea but they had to try something or else they would die! I think it was the captain who chased after her and told her to stop but then he got hurt, like badly. Mulan didn't know what to do. I think in the next chapter, Mulan might think of something to stop the Huns and get her captain back on his feet. Her army probably or will claim victory.
