Bermuda Triangle.. Ummm… Have you ever heard that? Well it’s like this dangerous place in the Atlantic Ocean. No one wants to go there but some people did go there. Don’t tell your kids or other children, they will cry and cry and cry! Lots of people go there and they never come back. That’s why it’s scary and dangerous. The 3 main countries that form the Bermuda Triangle are, Bermuda, Florida and Puerto Rico. Now you know a few things about the Bermuda Triangle let me tell you a story about a few survivors who went on a boat from Florida to Bermuda.
One of the survivor's names was Jerold. 4 people (including him) went on a ship to Bermuda and they were in Florida. They knew that this was a risky move, you don’t know if you die or don’t come back. It was such a difficult choice to make because they weren't gonna see their families ever again. They agreed to do it. They had to travel to Bermuda because that was on their bucket list for all the countries they want to visit. They thought they were crazy and indeed they were but they just did it. They hugged and waved their families goodbye. They all cried and cried. The ship left.
They traveled and traveled. It was very far and they felt like regretting this decision but they were already on the ship. All they did was just lay down and sleep and dream. They dreamed about them on this journey and about their families in Florida. Jerold had one crazy dream.
He thought that they were gonna die and his family was gonna end up on the streets. He only works and the mother stays at home and does work at home. He almost had a heart attack but his mates got seawater and tipped it on him. He woke up and told them what he dreamed about. They were scared and wanted to go back home. What were they gonna do? Oh no!
Jerold ran up the stairs on the ship and tried to turn the wheel but instead they went backwards and it hit a big rock. Opps! The ship started going down. They all tried to get up high and find things to float on. One of Jerold’s friends. Chad brought a phone and lots and lots of life jackets. Jerold and his other mates thanked him.
They all take one life jacket each and put it on. They were still holding onto a log or wood from the ship. Gary (one of Jerold’s mates) stored a tiny camera in the ship. They tried to connect it to Chad’s phone. They finally did and saw what the shipwrecked look like. They were so grateful that they survived but there was one more problem, they were cold! One way was to get as close as to each other to get warm (real thing and one of Jin’s ideas. Jerold's friends).
Jerold thought and thought. He was wondering about how they would get back home but suddenly a big gush of wind and I mean a big one blew all 4 of them away. They went in this strange direction. They kept on going to the left, then to the right and then straight. They got back in 4 days. That was weird because when they went out in the first place, it only took 12 hours but now that it has been 3 days, that’s shocking.
All 4 of them gasped and were in sweet relief. They weren't stuck in the sea anymore. Yay! They walked for about 30 minutes until they found a bus stop. They waited there just for a bit and a bus finally came. They walked home for like 15 minutes. Their families heard something and opened the door. It was Jerold, Chad, Gary and Jin! All the kids, wives and relatives hugged them and welcomed them in. They were so happy to be back at home.
There is no better place than home.
Sweet, sweet home.
