Hello everyone, it's me Finau and I will be doing an activity for the SLJ. This is my eighth activity I've done this week. I think this activity might be maths. It's called which one doesn't belong or what some of you guys call (including me) Odd one out. This activity was super duper fun but also tricky. On the last page I have my own and I hope you figure it out. I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Please leave a positive comment on my blog. Bye!
Hello Finau, Nita Here! (again)
ReplyDeleteYour responses were interesting and your right I too had fun doing this activity. For the last slide I think the one that doesn't belong is D, because A,B and C speak their native languages in their country and English but D doesn't have a native language they only speak English?
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Nita
Hey Nita (again)!
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog. I'm happy you enjoyed that activity. Glad you have responded to my last page. What you said was a great idea, I should have done that but it's actually A. The other flags have the colour blue, red and white and A only has white and red. Thanks for trying and thanks again Nita for commenting on my blog.
From Finau:)
Ohhhh, why didn't I think of that. Haha I tried.
DeleteThanks for replying !
Nita

ReplyDeleteMy name is Renee and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey Team. Ka pai on your excellent work on this blog post. In particular, it is awesome that you managed to spot so many differences for each group of images and that you included such a detailed explanation of how you have reached these conclusions.
Which group of four images was your favourite to review and why?
I have really enjoyed analysing the four original images of flags you shared in your post. The differences I noticed were:
Flag C is the only flag that does not include a box in the top left corner.
Flag A is the only flag that features a cross.
Flag D is the only flag that features horizontal stripes.
Flag C is the only flag that relates to a country in Europe.
What other differences can you spot?
Ngā mihi nui and keep up the excellent mahi.
Renee (SLJ)
