Summer Learning Journey/Week 1 :Te Reo Maori What are you doing

Hey everyone, it's me Finau and today I'm will be doing another activity for the SLJ. This one is a about Maori and we are learning how to understand and pounce the Maori language. This was quite hard because I don't understand much Maori but  got through it. Yay! I hope you enjoy my SLJ activity. Please leave a positive comment on my blog. Bye!

  1. Hello Finau, Nita here once again.

This post is really helpful. It gave me even more knowledge about the Maori language. I find learning new languages complicated but fun what about you?

    1. Hi Nita!

This was also a helpful task for me so I can understand a bit more Maori. I think the same as you it's hard but fun. Thanks again Nita!

  2. Kia Ora Finau,

It’s Charlotte here, a commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. I thought the work you have done on the ‘What are you doing today?’ task was great!

I noticed that you talked about playing netball later in the day! That is awesome, I think netball is so much fun! How long have you played for?

If you want to get even more points for the Summer Learning Journey, you can give the ‘Step it up’ challenge for this activity a go! You can find this using this link. Make a Screencastify of you and someone else at home asking and answering the question, “What are you doing today?” in Te Reo Māori.

    Ngā mihi nui
