Task 1: Understand what pH is.

pH = potential of hydrogen

What is pH? pH is how acid is measured.

How do you measure pH? The pH value can be measured using electrochemical measuring systems, litmus paper, or indicators and colorimeters.

What is the scale of pH measured on? pH is a measure of how acidic/basic water is. The range goes from 0 - 14.

What pH level does water have? Is water acid, basic, or neutral? Neutral

What is the most acidic pH level? It is 0

What is the most basic pH level? It is 8-14

0-6 is acidic

7 is neutral

8-14 is basic

0 battery

1 stomach acid

2 lemon juice

3 grape juice

4 tomato juice

5 soft drinks

6 saliva/urine

7 pure water

8 sea water

9 baking soda

10 great salt lake

11 ammonia solution

When things go into water they dissolve and become acids and lose 1 electron.

Geronimo Stilton, Secret Agent - Home learning Reading

 

Hello everyone, it's me Finau and welcome back to my blog. This blog post is about my home learning reading. We had to choose a chapter from a book and predict what might happen in the next chapter.

Summary: Geronimo woke up in the morning to a suspicious mouse. He was just standing their watching him. HOW ODD? He ignored it and ate his breakfast. He went to the train station (to get to his job) and the suspicious mouse was there again. He was kind of scared. He kept on walking and when he got off the train and saw him again. HOW STRANGE? He went to work and he saw him again. He ran back home and he was still there. Geronimo yelled out "who are you?".

Prediction: I think that it might be some Geronimo knows and he might be surprised with who it actually is.
