SLJ/WK 1 - E hia ngā mea?

Hey everyone! My name is Finau and welcome/welcome back to my blog. This activity (from the SLJ) is based around counting from 1-10 in Te Reo Maori but it is flashcards. I looked around the house for some items I'd look or see during the summer and searched and google for some other images. I had a lot of fun creating this. I hope you have enjoyed this post. Please leave a positive comment.

  1. Kia ora Finau,

Well done with the E hia ngā mea activity! I love the creative images you have used for counting, and that they’re related to summer! Ka pai!

Have you learnt to count in Te Reo Māori before?

I’m glad you had fun completing this activity, keep an eye out for more Te Reo activities throughout the next few weeks!

I’m looking forward to seeing your next blog and other creative work during the Summer Learning Journey.

    Ngā mihi,
    Lauren

    1. Hello Lauren,

Thank you for your comment. I'm so glad I completed (it was fun doing it). Yeah I was trying to find things or images that were summer related.

Yes I have but I always get it mixed up with counting in Tongan because the pronunciation is very similar but the spelling is quite different.

      Yes I will.

      Thanks again,

      Finau
