Hey everyone! My name is Finau and welcome back to my blog. Hope you all had an amazing Christmas week last week. I did. This is the poetry slam toru kick off activity. In this activity we had to make a Haiku Poem. I've made these before so I think I did pretty good. I hope you have enjoyed this Haiku Poem and post. Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

Tēnā koe for completing another Poetry Slam activity! So glad you enjoy writing poetry, love the photo as well.
Remember, though, that a Haiku is measured in syllables, not words!
Your first line has five words, but six syllables:
“Bright sun shin-ing all day”

You had the right idea, though! Can’t wait to see what you write next, your posts are always really positive and creative. Could you maybe think of another Haiku to add to this post? What did you do over the Xmas break?

Okay. I celebrated Christmas with my family and gave some presents to others. Had a lot of fun. What about you, what did you do?

That’s nice, good of you to be giving presents to a number of people! I was working the whole time, except for Xmas day, where I just spent some time with my family. Was nice, though.
