Summer Learning Journey/Week 1 :Tānerore & Kowhaiwhai Patterns

Hey everyone, it's me Finau and today I will be doing another activity for the SLJ. This is my eleventh one I've done this week! This is about Tānerore and Kowhaiwhai patterns. The first one I did was a koru pattern and the background was a idea from Julianna. The second one is one I saw from google was a kowhaiwhai pattern. I hope you enjoy these pattern. Please leave a positive comment on my blog. Bye!

    1. Hi Unita!

Thank you for commenting on my blog. I'm go glad you like my Maori patterns. I felt a bit confident doing these patterns because at school we were recently learning about Maori art. Julianna is my friend and we always share ideas. Thanks again Untia!

Wow - I am so impressed by your kowhaiwhai patterns, ka pai! They are both outstanding and I can tell you have put in a lot of effort in choosing your colours and patterns. I really like the way each one of your designs is unique. It’s great that you acknowledged how you worked with Julianna on your post too.

Keep up the great blogging - I can’t wait to see more of your posts over the summer.

    Ngā mihi nui
