Summer Learning Journey/Week 2 :We wish you a Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone, it's me Finau and today I will be going another activity for the SLJ. This is my 6th one I've done this week. We had to sing a song with our family and I did one with my siblings. It was kind of hard because my brother Keni was not listening but the other 2 that was listening was Catherine and Vaha. I hope you all enjoyed the videos and this post. Please leave a positive comment on my blog. Bye!

  1. Kia ora Finau,

Hi, it’s Shannon again from the Summer Learning Journey.

I really enjoyed listening to your whanau singing. It reminded me a lot of my siblings. I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters and it is always so hard to get them all together doing what I want them to do, just like your family, but sometimes when I look back it makes me laugh and I know that it will make others happy when they see it too! Yours definitely made me smile!

Did you set up the video to record yourselves or did you get someone to do it for you?

You have such beautiful voices, that I think you could make a Christmas song quiz for your friends where you sing a couple of lines of the song and they have to guess it, a bit like a Kahoot.

Thank you for sharing all the great things you are doing during your holidays.

    Keep up the amazing work
    Shannon (SLJ)

    1. Hey Shannon (again)!

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I'm really glad that you like our singing. It's true, it's hard to get all your siblings to get on the same page but it is really funny. Hahaha!

We recorded ourselves. We set up a 3 second timer.

Oh that is a great idea for a song quiz. I use to do that with my friends when I was 7 or 8. We enjoyed it so much. I think we could probably do it again.

      Thanks again Shannon!
