ReplyDeleteKia Ora Finau, Kiana-Marino here from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteTauke! Awesome! Thank you for taking the time to participate in the haiku activity. Is swimming something you might be doing a lot of over this summer holiday?
Poetry doesn’t actually have rules and lots of poets have played with the rules of haikus. But the limitations can help us have to think creatively to say what we want in as few words as we can. I think what you've done is really good but I reckon for an extra challenge you could try working on this one again and work on that 5,7,5 syllable and see what creativity comes out of having to work to the limitations.
I’ll be really excited to see if you do,
Ngā mihi

Hi Kiana-Marino!
DeleteThank you so much for commenting on my blog. Swimming is something we would always ask our parents and this weekend we are gonna have a slip'n slide and play. I will maybe try again in the Haiku poems. It was my first time doing it so yeah. Thanks again Kiana-Marino!
